The Work-Life Balancing Act

Impostor-2

Work-life balance is, and will continue to be, the buzz phrase of our time implying a harmony between one’s personal and professional life. However, what this looks like at the individual level is personal and subjective because, let’s face it, “life” is complicated, all-encompassing and ever changing.

But, if you are feeling out of whack, or the juggle struggle is all too real, it may be time to get your priorities in order and revisit your boundaries. Today, we encourage you to think through the following questions:

  • What are the things that bring you joy?
  • What are your biggest opportunities to make an impact?
  • What are your biggest stressors, and how can you alleviate them?
  • Who are the people that you want to prioritize? (Write down the names of the people you miss the most and make a plan to get in touch with them.)

Now that you’ve identified what’s most important to you, check out these actionable tips to setting healthy boundaries, guilt free!
